The Athletes Edge YDP teaches the fundamentals of Athleticism in a fun, competitive environment to kids from ages 6 – 12 years old. Youth fitness and sports is the key for laying the groudwork for a lifetime of fitness. Participation will improve overall fitness as well as fundamentals like: running form, coordination, agility, body awreness, age appropriate strength training, core strength, leadership, and injury prevention. It also supports other health benefits such as weight control, bone building, cardiovascular protection, increased mental health.
Increase total body strength, power output, explosion and muscular balance.
Improves speed, agility and movement efficiency through sports specific planes of motion.
