Youth Sports Programs

Shula's Youth Sports Programs are designed to promote a commitment to life-long fitness, we accomplish this through organized sports that emphasize game fundamentals, teamwork, sportsmanship and FUN! While sports are competitive in nature we strive to create a more non-competitive environment that focuses on guaranteed participation regardless of skill level. Your child will have a positive experience with sport activities at an early age in life. The appreciation of sports can lead to a life-long commitment to health and wellness.

Basketball Leagues
Ages 3-15


The Shula's Youth Basketball Program is a skill-based sports program designed to help young athletes progress successfully into competitive sports. This program will emphasize personal excellence, skills, and teamwork. The program follows the Shula's Sports Philosophy and instills in every player that they are a winner by emphasizing sportsmanship, fair play, teamwork, equal participation, family involvement and FUN. Member Fee: $99 Non-Member Fee: $129

Performance Enhancement Program (PEP)
Ages 6-15


Shula’s Performance Enhancement Lessons are for those young basketball players who are interested in going to the next level with their game, working with their very own private coach. These lessons will take place during any available time coordinated by the coach and the parent.

Member Fee: $50 per hour or $30 1/2 hour Non-Member Fee: $70 per hour or $50 1/2 hour

F.A.S.T.
Ages 7-15


The Shula’s F.A.S.T. program is a fun exciting way to get your child excited about fitness and improve their athletic performance. We would like to introduce our Head Coach, Mikhael Ricks, former NFL Pro Bowl Player and past Director of the Velocity Sports Performance program. Mikhael will help your child reach their potential through fun, athletic based functional training concepts.

Tumbling I & II
ages 5 and up


Tumbling provides both physical and mental benefits. Physically, tumbling develops coordination, improves flexibility, and builds strength. Mentally it helps build self-esteem and confidence, goal-setting skills, concentration and perseverance.

$40 for members/$55 for non-members.


Tumbling I: Fridays at 4:00PM

Rhythmic Gymnastics: Beginners I & II
Ages 8 and up


Rhythmic gymnastics is a sport that combines dance and gymnastic with the use of varies apparatus such as balls, hoops, ribbons, ropes, and clubs. This activity promotes balance, flexibility, and coordination. This program is offered in a progression series based on age and skill level to enhance learning and ensure safety.

$60 for members/ $75 for non-members.

Beginners I: Tuesdays & Thursdays at 4:30PM
Beginners II: Tuesdays & Thursdays at 5:30PM


Rhythmic Gymnastics: Intermediate & Advanced
Ages 8 and up


These intermediate and advanced level classes follow the progression series of rhythmic gymnastics based on age and skill level. Balls, hoops, ribbons, ropes, and clubs will be used along with more advanced combinations of dance movements and acrobatics.

$60 for members/ $75 for non-members.

Intermediate: Thursdays & Fridays at 6:30PM/6:00PM
Advanced: Tuesdays & Fridays at 6:30PM/7:00PM

Aquatics/Swimming Lessons

Swimming is an essential skill for all children, especially in South Florida. Our swimming program ensures that each student progresses from knowing a skill to confidence in performing the skill. Lessons are taught by our certified Water Safety Instructors.
